When bad guys try to run and hide, a police chopper can zero in on their location from above. The cost of operating, maintaining, and fueling a police helicopter can put a sizeable dent in a police department's budget. A drone can provide another set of eyes in places that a chopper cannot access, while offering a more affordable option.
The “Arty” can help protect law enforcement officers by flying into buildings to see if the area is safe. This alternative method will defer officers from needing to enter a building and possibly getting into a gunfight. This drone can be equipped as a part of a police department's aerial response team to help monitor situations from the safety of their squad car.
In a situation where a police officer is alone when responding to a call, the “Arty” can be immediately deployed into the air and offer a second set of eyes for the officer as he investigates the situation.
While other drone models need to be charged, swapped out with new batteries, or tethered to a power source. The “Arty” offers a new charging method by using lasers to charge the battery during flight. this means it can't stay on site for longer periods of time without having to worry about recharging. after the operation is complete the Arty can be sent back to its enclosed housing attached to the top of the squad car for recharging. If the battery charge falls below 30% during flight, the Arty can signal the drone housing to remotely charge the battery at closer distance. Once charged the Arty can resume its flight path.

Glug Beijing hosted yet another creative talk show event focusing on branding, Momentum 7 imagined and created a unique art installation that directly corresponded with the topic, aptly named ‘The 16,000 chopsticks challenge’. As the name of the installation suggests, the team used 16,000 chopsticks which were then applied to polystyrene cut-outs of the Glug logo. Together with mood lighting and moving color spotlights, this simple yet very effective piece helped to promote Glug Beijing as a brand becoming a huge attraction during the event and throughout the evening.

The Ears of Starbucks project is a live interactive marketing experience. I helped to create a new approach to flavor perception to maximize the pleasure of tasting and give a voice to the product. Displaying several Starbucks’ coffee cups with different coffee aromas inside, guests are welcome to touch each cup to release different ethnic sounds corresponding to each coffee beans origin. This new interactive marketing approach allows the customers to better memorize the product and its uniqueness. Working with talented Chinese movie composer and sound artist Zhao Chen Long, each coffee melody is a new gourmet experience of tasting.

Chinese ceramics is one of the most important symbols of Chinese culture and heritage becoming synonymous to China itself. These delicate artifacts encompass both shape and pattern and were once used frequently in daily life. Streak Artefacts elaborates on the idea that we are still able to reuse methods, designs and ideas from 2000 years ago and reinterpret them into modern applications. This interactive art installation transports back the vivid colors of ancient ceramics from different dynasties including Zhou, Han and Jin, reviving them into our modern society. This continuous rotation of emerging and fading light is a reenactment of how even as we progress in time we can still constantly reinvent ideas through our past.

Throughout history China has gathered a wealth of rich culture and knowledge spread across many years and creating impact all around the world. Today most of these delicate artifacts are continuing to fade away and become forgotten behind the dust of museum glass doors. Loominate highlights how in this modern era, different media such as old traditional handcraft can still be transcended into modern interpretations. In this case, an authentic Chinese loom used to make traditional fabrics is given a new of lease of life becoming a live kinetic installation.

Situated in the staircase of an industrial architecture space in Beijing’s 751 art district, Ripple is a sequence of kinetic hanging installations developed by Momentum7. Using luminous lighting effects, etched metal and motion, Ripple comes alive as it reacts with its surrounding environment. The viewer is fully immersed into the experience as each metallic structure mimics the contours of the cylindrical tank in which it’s placed. Together with the pulsating reflections of the light and metal, a sense of endless perspective and motion is created from within.

Famous for their unique a cappella sound; the Yao star embraces the traditional song and dance from the Yao minority. The star’s music uses real vocal recordings of the Yao people which were mixed together with modern sounds by music artist Lao, a native from the Yao minority to create an eclectic composition.
These sounds are also synchronized with lighting that intensifies with the music, highlighting the Yao’s passion for song and dance.
